The `Eid came, with a long vacation; one week is a good opportunity to relax. Actually, this vacation came in its appropriate timing, so as to relax from life stress, burdens and daily routine.

It is around 4:00 a.m. the morning of my third day in London. Having a few minutes before getting ready for this day’s program, I thought to record some memories of my first visit to such a big historical European city, sharing this with you.

I may be stable in my life because of all the blessings I mentioned before. But there is a miss that I should figure out. We, human beings, use to take what comes to us without pondering on its significance. We take things for granted. Torn between life and work responsibilities, we rarely stop to pursue the meaning of the values which we are blessed with.

Ramadan has passed by so quickly! It seems like yesterday that my team and I were staying up late at work for the moon watch. We were reporting inside the virtual world of Second Life on the start of Ramadan for the different regions around the world. Now, we just finished reporting the moon sighting for `Eid, and one feeling prevails through us all. We are totally worn out!

Faith? I have stopped before this word many times. Sometimes I think I already know what it means to be faithful, sometimes I find out the meaning of faith bigger than my thoughts, bigger than me.

This is my first post at my blog “Me Thinking”, and I’m lucky, as I started it in the blessed month of Ramadan, which we all love and cherish. It’s the favorite month not only for me, but also for Muslims all over the world

So today is the first day for our new IOL blogging. To me — and yes, I am ashamed of it — it’s also my first ever blogging day. As much as I had thought about making my own blog for years, I never had the chance or the time or the energy to go for it.

Participating in a number of voluntary organizations and charities since my school years enriched my life experience, and assisted me in knowing various people coming from different cultures, backgrounds and age groups.
